Who We Are

Stabilizing the Southern California dance ecosystem.

Golden State Dance Foundation, soon to be renamed South Coast Conservatory Alliance, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to stabilizing the Southern California dance ecosystem.

We bridge the gap between elite training and sustainable employment by transforming dancers into versatile educators, performers, and administrators.

Our mission is to secure financial stability for artists while providing cities, schools, and studios with a pre-vetted, high-quality workforce.

Golden State Dance Foundation's mission is to increase accessibility, foster inclusive environments, strengthen the dance community, and support the financial stability of artists and venues.

Current programming includes a Teacher Professional Development Program, a Performance Program for Emerging Artists, and scholarship initiatives that reduce barriers in participation.
